Baccarat Rules
Baccarat is a famous casino game in brick and mortar and online casino. The rules are too complex, but you need to know several aspects of the game, before you start playing a game of Baccarat in an online casino. The game has many similarities with Blackjack, but there is one significant difference: the goal at Baccarat is to get a single digit number, unlike Blackjack were the goal is to get a double-digit number.
How do you play a game of Baccarat? First, the dealer will give himself two cards and after this, you'll get two cards from the dealer. Now you have three different options: betting on your own hand to win, betting on the dealers hand to win or you make a tie between both of them. If the hand that you betted your money on, actually wins, you win the exact amount that you betted times two. If you made a tie, you'll get what you would receive in a 1:1 bet, plus eight.
The most important move in the game is the decision on which hand to bet, and having only three options, the odds are in your favor. Usually, low cards ask for another card, while higher cards usually ask for a hold. When you have five or a lower amount from two cards you get automatic a third card.
The goal of Baccarat is to have a hand of cards with a total closest to nine with your first two cards. A 10 and any face card (Jack, Queen, King or Ace) counts as zero and an Ace counts as one. The cards 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 equal the points they represent on the card.
Winning bank hands get 5% commission of the sum that you win.
