New Zealand Casino in Trouble

As Churches are notorious for not approving of online gaming, the Christchurch Casino has caused controversy worldwide. The branch of casinos that offers online gaming as well as poker, bingo and skills betting has just reportedly launched their second website.

Church activist are angry at the casino using Christ and a church in order to get promotions. They have been quoted as saying that this is one of the most sacrilegious things someone could do. The second casino will be launched this week and the activists are getting ready to protest it.

The second casino ill target international players and aim for a much stronger market. As of right now, they are located in New Zealand and have mostly seen clients from this geographical area. The first casino that was launched by this company was in 2000 and New Zealand residents were upset that the casino was using New Zealand’s liberal gaming laws to their own benefit. They thought it was exploitation of the New Zealand gaming commission and especially exploitation of churches and religion because of their controversial presentation as being a church casino.

New Zealand resident, Mary Walker has stated that this is an example of “bad people using something good for their own benefit”. She said that she and her Church going peers were very upset about this casino and were planning to take it to federal courts to have it banned.

This casino has thought of the legal aspects associated with it and that is why it has launched itself out of Kiwi Gaming, which is located in the West Indies. This is an attempt to try to get away from New Zealand gaming rules.
